Welcome to the Ecopath with Ecosim course, 27-31 October 2025 at the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC), Barcelona, Spain. This course is organized to familiarize novice and experienced users with the core principles of the EwE modelling approach, some important applications, and the latest features of the software.
On February 11th, 2024, SURIMI hosted the first of three stakeholder workshops to co-design socio-economic models for fisheries management that will be integrated into the European Digital Twin of the Ocean (EU DTO).
The branding strategy is rooted in establishing a visually appealing, engaging, and memorable connection with the project, ensuring that the SURIMI brand is distinctive, impactful and reflects the project’s objectives.
SURIMI project’s first annual meeting took place from the 24th-25th of September 2024, in Bergen, Norway, bringing together experts from across Europe.
Funded by Horizon Europe’s EU Mission Restore Our Ocean and Waters by 2030, the NORCE Norwegian Research Centre AS coordinates SURIMI project, which will integrate socio-economic models into the European Digital Twin Ocean (EU DTO).
