SEAtwins Symposium 2026: Advancing Digital Twins of the Ocean
The SURIMI project is pleased to promote the upcoming SEAtwins Symposium 2026: Advancing Digital Twins of the Ocean, which will take place from 2–5 November 2026 at Aalborg University in Copenhagen. Organised by the SEAtwins cluster, the symposium will bring together leading experts from science, policy, and industry to explore the latest developments in Digital Twins of the Ocean (DTOs) and socio-ecological modelling.
Advancing socio-ecological digital twins
The event focuses on integrating ecological, social, and economic data into next-generation ocean models, supporting more informed and inclusive decision-making for marine management. This aligns closely with SURIMI’s mission to develop innovative socio-ecological models for integration into the European Digital Twin of the Ocean, helping stakeholders explore “what-if” scenarios and improve marine policy and management strategies.
